I'm back everyone!!!! I'm feeling all ready for summer after our long weekend getaway!!! Ed and I haven't been away since before Christmas so it was nice to get away and relax a bit!!!!
Highlights of our trip.....
- I've NEVER had a hotel room with a KITCHEN before....it was great not having to eat out every night...saved a TON of money!!!
- Tobey was pretty stressed out for the first half of the trip. When we arrived at Whistler it was POURING rain and he was SHAKING because he did NOT recognize ANYTHING. The hotel we stayed at was pet-friendly so there were tons of other dogs in the building as well. He spent the entire night awake and barking whenever another dog barked/someone walked by our room. Poor guy didn't even SLEEP!! He did a LOT better the next night and slept all night the third night.
- Ed and I went up on the Gondola and rode across the Peak to Peak...SO beautiful! It was great to see SNOW!!!
- The Canada Day parade was cute...I can't remember the last time I saw a parade!!! Tobey totally was into it and just watched the whole thing...so cute!
- I had THE best burger EVER at Splitz Grill....you need to go if you haven't!!
- It was great seeing all the Olympic stuff since the last time we were up at Whistler was 2 years BEFORE the Olympics....so cool!!
