17th Week Update and Belly Pic!

Symptoms: I was really tired this week...kind of like back in the first trimester...I guess it's a sign that baby is growing a lot???  I've fallen asleep watching TV after dinner pretty much every night this week!!!

Mood: Tired again....

Cravings: I'm starting to wonder if it's even worth doing a 'cravings' section anymore HAHA I'm still not craving anything....just eating as usual...maybe a little more often but nothing unusual!

Bump Measurement: 31.25 inches (.25 of an inch gain since last week)

Weight: 91 lbs (hmm I lost a lbs?  HAHA told you my weight fluctuates!)

17 weeks!!!!

week 3 vs week 17!!!

Less than a week before our next ultrasound!!! We also booked our 3D ultrasound too!! It will be on January 21st aka my birthday week!!!!! The next 2 months is going to go by fast I hope...with Christmas celebrations, ultrasounds and birthday dinners...I can't wait for January to come so we can start our nursery and registry and planning for the baby shower in April!!! BRING ON 2012!!!

16th Week Update and Belly Pic!

Symptoms: I've been feeling a lot more pain in my back and the underside of my belly.  The back pain just feels like I've been standing ALL day but without the sore feet.  The pain under my belly feels like I've stretched something on and off.  Since this is my first pregnancy, I can't really tell if I'm feeling the baby yet...SOMETIMES I do think I feel something but I've never felt anything when I'm looking for it so...I'll count it as NOT feeling anything yet. 

Mood: For some reason I feel that I'm more tired this last week?  Probably because the baby is going through rapid growth right now??

Cravings: Again, I'm not CRAVING anything...but I definitely AM more hungry more often!

Bump Measurement: 31 inches (.25 of an inch gain since last week)

Weight: 92 lbs (1 lb gain since last week...but I TOTALLY fluctuate!)

I love that I can see my bump well when I have clothes on now!! Although people still say I don't look at ALL pregnant...I think I do!!

4 months!!!

Week 3 vs Week 16!!  

First OB Visit!!!!

So we finally had our first OB appointment today!!! It went great!!!!  We waited almost an hour before we got to go in...but that's pretty usual for doctor's offices I suppose.  The doctor weighed me right away and I was 92.5 lbs according to THEIR scale...I'm 91 lbs according to mine LOL.  She also asked me to pee in a cup but I had just gone to the bathroom before I got called in so we skipped that this appointment.  She asked Ed and I a bunch of questions...such as whether or not this was my first pregnancy (it is) and what my ethnicity was (Chinese).  Just a bunch of questions that are totally normal. 


 Then she went over my due date.  She asked me when my last period was (July 12th) and took out this chart and told me I SHOULD be due on April 20th.  She then went over my first ultrasound results and told me that they had dated my baby at 6 weeks (back in September) so that would make my due date May 4th. BUT, she said that the ultrasound came back as inconclusive (meaning they were not 100% sure about my due date) so we'll know better after my NEXT ultrasound (Dec 23rd).  So ya...my due date is still kind of up in the air but it's safe to say that the baby will arrive mid April to early May.  


The fun part was last! She took out the Doppler and got me to lie down.  She felt my tummy and right away said 'Ooo I feel your uterus!' and squirted the blue gel stuff on my belly.  As soon as she scanned my tummy the baby's heartbeat was obvious.  It was such a beautiful sound!!! I asked right away if could record it and she said yes.  So Ed took out my phone right away and I recorded a good 15 seconds of it.  


That was pretty much it!! I must say the receptionist was SUPER friendly and nice! Totally not like most receptionist I've encountered in my life (bitchy.....).  I've booked my next OB appointment for December 20th and this time it will be a physical meaning a pap smear and such...NOT looking forward to it!!! But December 23rd is our next ultrasound so I can't wait!!!!!!

15th Week Update and Belly Pic!

I can't believe I'm 15 weeks!!!!!!!!!

Symptoms: Not sure if it's from the pregnancy but my minor cold is still here.  Cramps here and there as usual but nothing else...I'm waiting for the first signs of baby movement...maybe in the next month??

Mood: I'm pretty much the same as I was pre-pregnancy except I get really tired after 4pm and either need to just do nothing on the couch or nap.

Cravings: Still nothing....I'm hungry more often...nothing new.

Bump Measurement: 30.75 inches (growth of .25 inches since last week)

Weight: 91 lbs (1 lb increase since last week...but I was 91 lbs a few weeks ago so....)

November 13, 2011....week 15!!!

Week 3 vs Week 15!

We will finally have our first OB visit this on Tuesday and will get to hear the baby's heatbeat for the first time!!! Can't wait to update on that!!

14th Week Update and Belly Pic!

Symptoms: This week I found myself realizing that I felt the way I did BEFORE I was pregnant! There were days when I totally felt 'normal' and free of pregnancy symptoms...guess that's the 2nd trimester bliss people talk about??  But there are still days when my back really hurts and I feel cramps in my tummy.

Mood: My mood hasn't really changed too much.  I guess now that the weeks are going up and up I'm more than ever getting used to the idea that all this pregnancy stuff is REAL and that in less than 6 months we will have a baby in our arms and sleepless nights LOL. 

Cravings: Not really craving anything one specific still...but craving different specific things every day when I'm hungry.  

Bump Measurement: 30.5 inches!!! That's HALF an inch since last week and 6.5 inches since I've been pregnant!! CRAZY!!!
Weight: Still 90 lbs!!!  5 lbs gained since I've been pregnant but really....my weight was 85 lbs +/- 5 lbs before...so I really haven't gained anything LOL.  Really weird since I've gained 6.5 inches!! 

November 6, 2011....14 Weeks!!

Aug 22 (week 3) vs Nov 6 (week 14)...it's SO cool to see the difference!!!
