Dear Aunt Flo...please visit me soon!

I don't have much to write about these days.  It's all about waiting really.  I'm still trying to decide when exactly I will announce I'm pregnant when I do get pregnant. I really don't think I'll be able to keep it a secret for 3 months.  I've never wanted my period to come as much as I do now!  Usually I'm dreading Aunt Flo's visit but I'm DYING for her to come and go so we can start trying in June!!!! She's due to arrive sometime next week!!!  This reminds me...gotta get my last fix of oysters and wine asap!!

 I've been reading up on the signs of pregnancy and although they seem sucky I know I'll be actually hoping that I vomit in the morning HAHA And it's funny but I can't wait to start peeing on pregnancy sticks HAHAHAHAHA

BEST COMMERCIAL EVER!!!!!

K I know I'm double posting today.....but this is seriously THE best commercial EVER!! And not to mention the idea isn't too bad either!!!  I'm totally contemplating on doing this...I guess this blog is kind of the same idea?  But the personal letters is awesome! It'd totally be THE best wedding gift from dad some day.

My First Baby Purchases!!!!

*Before I even start let me make it clear...I'M NOT PREGNANT!  We haven't started trying yet...not until next month!!!*

So I was on Etsy looking for a gift because I'm going to a baby shower in a few weeks.  My friend's having a boy so I figured I should get her some PeePee TeePees!  I ended up getting myself a set too! Here they are! SO CUTE!!

So I was trying to think of what other things I can get her/the baby and I stumbled upon these AWESOME stickers!  They're called Monthly Onesies Stickers!  Basically they are these cute stickers that go right onto a baby's one piece and you're supposed to take a photo of your baby with it on each monthly milestone!  Obviously I have no clue what Ed and I will be having...boy or girl...or both?!!  So I got one of each!

And THEN I stumbled upon Belly Bump Stickers!!!! THESE got me SOO excited!  These are pretty much the same thing as the Monthly Onesies Stickers but they got on the mama-to-be's tummy....one for each month starting at 8 weeks!!!!! Here it is....next time y'all see this again it will be on MY tummy announcing my baby!!! YA!!!!!

We Want Grandkids!

My Mother's Day weekend was a 2-day event.  Saturday I took my Mommy to The Fort Wine Co. in Fort Langley and we had a great time, just the 2 of us, drinking wine and munching on cheese and crackers!  We talked a lot about me having kids soon (I also went to a baby shower right before our visit).  Sunday was dinner with Ed's family and we brought a cake that had a little plastic 'Happy Mother's Day' sign it.  After dinner and cake Ed's dad slid the little plastic sign over to me and said in his Chinese accent 'I hope you are a mother soon!'.  

This was HUGE. 

Up til now Ed's parents have NEVER mentioned grandkids or us having kids.  I was really happy about this because as you all know, we're planning on starting to try next month!  We haven't really told his side of the family much about our plans because we figure we'll just wait until we ARE pregnant before giving them any ideas HAHA But now we both just can't wait!

Yes it's official....our parents are craving grandkids.  YAY!

Inspiration Boards for GIRLS!

So I promised that I'd post some inspiration photos for baby GIRL nurseries and here they are!! These are my favourites!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE little chandeliers and wall art!!! Baby fever continues!!!! June needs to come fast so we can start trying!!!!!!!!

LOVE the mini chandelier here and the blushy pinks!! 

I just love the colours in this one! Pink, green and yellow makes a really nice spring palette don't you think?

Again LOVE the mini chandelier and I realllllly love the flower tree...the flowers are 3D!!!  It's so pretty! Although I think I'd opt for all white furniture instead or go with dark brown wood!
